FarmVille: Irish limited edition trees come back for new Spain theme

I don't even know where to begin with this farmers, so we'll jump straight to the point. In a completely mind-boggling move, Zynga has re-released the formerly Irish-themed Irish Strawberry and Chinese Strawberry Trees as part of the brand new Spain limited edition theme in FarmVille. On top of this, they've changed the "Irish Strawberry" name to just "Strawberry." Don't be confused though - if you had purchased an Irish Strawberry Tree back in May, you'll retain all of your mastery points even with this tree's new name.

One thing that hasn't changed about these trees is their price. The Strawberry Tree costs 5 Farm Cash, while the Chinese Strawberry Tree is 10 Farm Cash. Remember, you can always earn these Chinese Strawberry Trees from Mystery Seedlings, so don't feel bad if you don't have the Farm Cash on hand to spend.

While it's not unusual to see FarmVille's limited edition items come back in new themes, it does seem a bit fishy that the name has been changed. After all, if you can release a "Chinese" tree during the "Spain" theme, why not an "Irish" one? Did they think no one would notice and purchase another? Perhaps I'm just being too cynical, but this is definitely a time to watch before you purchase, farmers. Make sure you're not unintentionally spending Farm Cash that you don't need to.

What do you think of this Irish Strawberry Tree's name change? Do you like seeing trees re-released so that you can stock up on more, or would you rather only purchase brand new trees?
